Staff Therapist Position

KCCAT is excited to announce we are hiring for multiple therapist positions! Are you looking to join a supportive team focused on high-quality care for anxiety and OCD? KCCAT may be your next professional home!

Whether you are newly licensed and looking to find a space to learn and grow, or a practicing clinician looking potentially to re-specialize and learn from the experts, we have flexible employment options that may be a good fit for you. For those new(er) to the anxiety and OCD treatment world or newer to the field in general, we offer intensive on-the-job training as well as options to begin this training on a part-time basis while you phase out of your existing practice and/or other roles.

Location

Overland Park, Kansas (Kansas City metropolitan area), United States. Employees may have the option of hybrid work arrangements, but this is not a fully remote position.

Qualifications and Requirements

Licensure Eligibility: Must be eligible for independent licensure in Kansas and Missouri. At time of employment you must at least be licensed for independent practice in Kansas. Those who do not yet have, but will be eligible for, licensure in Missouri at an independent level will be considered if otherwise qualified.

Individual Psychotherapy Experience: Must have at least one year of supervised, individual psychotherapy experience.

CBT-Specific Experience and Focus: Must at least have classroom education in and some supervised experience providing CBT services. A strong desire to primarily utilize this orientation moving forward is required for this position.

Diagnostic Competency: Must have completed a graduate-level course in psychopathology and/or diagnostic assessment.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is designed to afford employees significant flexibility in their schedule while maintaining full access to generous benefits. Clinical caseloads have a natural ebb and flow, and employees should expect some variability in their hours from month to month. We will discuss this in detail with qualified and interested candidates.

For individuals requiring training in CBT and ERP for anxiety, OCD, and related conditions, compensation will be structured accordingly to reflect degree of training required to function as a full-time team member.
