Please note that our center is open by appointment only, and we are not able to accommodate new patients on a walk-in basis.
In order to allow our support staff time to enjoy the holiday season with their families, we will not regularly be returning voicemails or emails regarding new patient inquiries between Friday, December 20, 2019 and Sunday, January 5, 2020.
New Patient Screens completed using our online form will be received as usual and generally you can expect to hear from a member of our staff within one week of completing the form. During this holiday period, however, it may take staff an extra couple of days to reach out.
KCCAT is not able to provide immediate or walk-in appointments. Always alert any current medical or psychiatric provider, call 911, and/or report to the nearest emergency room for medical care during a psychiatric emergency.
A New Patient/Resource Request Screening Form is the first step to getting started in obtaining services or resource suggestions from our center. The screen gives us a starting snapshot of your situation and needs so that we can most efficiently be of assistance. Screens are reviewed promptly by our team, then assigned to an available staff member fitting your needs. A clinician or clinic coordinator will contact you directly to discuss scheduling or reviewing resource options we believe may be helpful to you.
Our New Patient/Resource Request Screening Form can be completed online at your convenience—day or night! Our team will review and follow up to discuss scheduling, additional resources, or any questions you may have.
If you need—or would prefer—to complete the screen over the phone, please call (913) 649-8820 and select Option 1 to leave a voicemail with your contact information; a member of our intake staff will typically be able to return your call to complete the screen within 24-48 hours.
